Our Process
Our process begins with an in-depth interview and the qualifications to be considered as a member of The Intro Matchmakers. During the consultation we ask for complete honesty regarding your personal and financial background for a proper assessment of membership. Both the member and those matched with The Intro members must provide an up to date photo as well as undergo a criminal and financial background check prior to membership approval.
Upon acceptance, members are asked a series of questions regarding qualities, physical appearance, values and interest in a mate. The Intro utilizes a unique and custom method to ensure we understand your expectations. Once matches are selected based upon members custom criteria, an in-person screening session will be held by a professional matchmaker to personally hand select and extensively interview to filter candidates. The Intro MatchMakers has over 5,000 men and women currently on file to select from and receives applications everyday. Once mutual interest is acknowledged and meeting arrangements are confirmed, it’s now up to you to make your best first impression. Package prices start at $2500.00.
The Intro MatchMakers clients do not have any problems meeting people; just need assistance on being introduced to the RIGHT people. Behind The Intro
Based in Charlotte, NC The Intro Matchmakers was founded in 2009 with a mission to provide clients the gift of time and to become the recognized leader in the personal services industry. The Intro offers two exclusive services: Personal Matchmaking with a relationship success rate of 88% and Concierge Services to provide additional luxury services to our private clients and members.
When you hear the term “matchmakers”, you mainly think of dating. The Intro has taken this term to another level by combining matchmaking with other personal services that are equally appealing to high profile professionals. An initial consultation allows The Intro to identify the vision, needs and desires of the client. With a clear understanding, we then make that vision a reality.
Yolanda Hayes and LaPhaedra Howard met in 2007 bringing together their backgrounds and expertise of matchmaking, event planning and customer service to create The Intro. Our mission is to incorporate all services provided by The Intro to eliminate stress and meet the expectations of high profile executives, professional athletes, entertainers and promoters.

Yolanda Hayes was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio where she grew to love fashion and beauty. In 1999, Yolanda attended Moler-Pickens Beauty College and soon became the manager of two major salons in Cincinnati. Yolanda later relocated to Charlotte, NC in 2003 with nothing but her clothes and determination.
In 2007, Yolanda Hayes noticed there was a need for events dedicated to professional singles within the Charlotte area. She took matters into her own hands and began hosting monthly dating events in Charlotte and Atlanta along with LaPhaedra Howard. Over time, Yolanda became very serious about this new found venture and decided to focus on professional relationship coach training and speaking with long-term married couples on how to maintain a healthy lasting relationship.
Yolanda has helped her clients achieve success in love and life through the “tough love” approach to self-improvement. Utilizing her 15 years of Cosmetology experience, Yolanda guides clients to building confidence and self worth inside and out.

LaPhaedra Howard, a native of South Carolina completed her formal education and decided to employ her creative talents to enrich the lives of others. In 2007, she moved to Charlotte, NC where she met Yolanda Hayes. They combined their talents and created The Intro, a full service firm providing a myriad of services to its clients.
Recognizing the importance of life balance, LaPhaedra began offering her clients personalized concierge services. With services designed specifically for the individual, clients achieve the love and life balance that they desire.

1) What initial qualifications would a potential member have to meet in order to be considered?
The initial qualifications to be considered a member would be that you must be at least 25 years old, employed with an annual income of $60,000 or more.
2) What are the steps to becoming a membership?
First you would complete the initial online application. (Drew, please insert the application here as a link) Your initial application will be reviewed by a senior matchmaker to determine if The Intro is the right service for your needs. You may be contacted to answer a series of additional questions regarding your criteria. Once approved you would be contacted to move on to the next level.
3) What are the benefits to utilizing a professional matchmaker?
You are not just a next caller on the line waiting for a customer service representative to answer your call. The relationship you have with a matchmaker is more personal to ensure we introduce singles to meet our members’ criteria.
4) Can a membership be cancelled at anytime?
Yes. Memberships can be cancelled at anytime however the annual fee is non-refundable.
5) What happens to my annual membership if I meet someone either through The Intro MatchMakers or on my own? Can I freeze my membership?
Yes. You may freeze your membership during the same membership period
